As far as supermarkets go this is definitely one of the better ones. Ample free parking, very spacious store and rarely feels busy. Self scan system is a breeze if you have a nectar card. In house Argos is a bonus. Good selection of home wares and clothing too and there's an on site petrol station. Most parking is also undercover which is a bonus during inclement weather. The store has a good range of products and some interesting overseas ingredients. There is a small bakery section and fresh pizza which I think you can have baked in store. The frozen food selection is a little small given the size of the store. The store is in close proximity to the A19 so our 7 mile trip takes less than 10 minutes door to door. Nectar card is essential if you seek value for money although there is also an Aldi price match on many staple products. Thankfully the store doesn't seem to attract any undesirables both inside and out.
I love the Sainsbury's and I love the deals using the smart scan app. My young boys love going up and down the travelators and they have a big choice in this store. It's never too busy or overcrowded. The petrol is normally one of the cheapest in town.
Went to Argos inside to pick up an item for my daughters birthday. Decided to go and do a little shopping whilst I was there. My 5 year old son was zapped by a member of staff for making lots of noise....he loved it! My son asked him his name, and he said his name was Tony, but my 5 year old changed his name to Robert, much to Tony's amusement. Then my 5 year old walked down the cereal aisle pointing out any boxes that were open or squashed to a lovely woman staff member, she then said she better walk down the aisle with him incase he found any more. Fab staff makes shopping so much easier with a loud, boisterous 5 year old.
